Chef Diondra Norris fell in love with cooking at just three years old during a memorable Saturday at work with her grandmother. With over 20 years of culinary experience in private catering and bringing family together over great food, Diondra created DeAvion’s Paradise to blend her roots with bold Texas flavor. Holding her official Food Handler Certification, she is dedicated to serving authentic Southern soul food prepared with pure love, wholesome ingredients, and down-home hospitality. For Diondra, every plate is an invitation to gather, celebrate, and feel right at home.

Founded by Chef Diondra Norris, DeAvion’s Paradise was created from a love of good food, family, and the Southern tradition of bringing people together around the table. Our recipes are inspired by Alabama roots and brought to life with a Texas-sized personality.
From smothered oxtails, crispy fried chicken and fish, Soul Food Egg Rolls, loaded Paradise Bowls, and homemade Southern sides to signature sauces, desserts, and specialty drinks, our menu is all about big flavor and satisfying comfort food.
